Welcome to the virtual home of Wind & Waves Home Services LLC. My name is Hope Liñan and I am a proud Downeast Maine resident. Thank you for being here and sharing in the excitement and joy of owning a small business!

After graduating from Maine Maritime Academy, I moved to the area in October of 2021, met my husband (check out his tree service company) and got married exactly six months after. Talk about a whirlwind! Throughout college, I had the eventual goal to start my own business; I just never thought it would be so soon. After a couple of less-than-awesome job experiences within a couple months, I decided to take a huge step of faith and start my own business. What started as a sole proprietorship has grown to an LLC with three employees within a year. Growth is incredible!

In the midst of two businesses growing, we are also growing our family! Our little one will be arriving at the end of April 2024. We’re blessed and excited to raise our child to know Jesus, to work hard, and to be a productive member of society!

Downeast Maine is truly a special place, and I’m blessed to be able to live and make a living here, raise a child here, and develop relationships with the community. To reference the initial business plan, Wind & Waves is “a family-owned home service business with a focus on serving the community, building meaningful relationships with clients, and supporting the local economy and public well-being. We are Christians who believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ, the importance of family on the local & global economy, and caring for the surrounding community in any way that arises.”
